Based on the product positioning of the same-series model 1746-N2 and industry common specifications for SLC™ series slot fillers, the 1746-N2B is a slot filler (blank module) belonging to Allen-Bradley’s SLC™ series (product series: Bul. 1746 / 1747), designed specifically for all SLC 500 chassis. As a functional extension of the 1746-N2, its core role is to fill unused slots in the SLC 500 chassis. This not only maintains the structural stability of the chassis but also protects internal electrical components from dust, debris, moisture, or external mechanical damage, ensuring the reliable operation of the entire PLC system. It is fully compatible with the SLC™ series ecosystem, supporting matching with a wide range of replacement power supplies, chassis, communication modules, I/O cards, and accessories.
