Installation & Operation Requirements：

■Cannot be removed or inserted while system power is energized; power must be de-energized 

before disconnecting carriers or LocalBus Extender cables.

■Must not be unplugged unless the system is de-energized or the area is confirmed safe.

■Total length of I/O carriers and LocalBus Extenders combination must not exceed 6.5 meters.

■Interconnecting cables between enclosures must be installed in conduit.

■Requires compliance with hazardous area installation/removal/operation instructions (refer to 

document 12P2046 "DeltaV ™ Scalable Process System Zone 2 Installation Instructions" and 

"Installing Your DeltaV Automation System" manual).

Maintenance & Service:

■Contains no user-serviceable parts; disassembly is prohibited for any reason.
