When a VM600 protection loop loses a CPUM, MPC4, IOC4T, IQS450, or TQ402 module, stock level becomes the first question. The second question is whether the stock is correct for the rack and sensor configuration. This article explains the part number families we hold, what causes stock to move fast, and the checks that prevent a wrong purchase.

CPUM and MPC4 are not shelf items that stay for months.
CPUM is the rack processor. A failure takes down communication to the whole VM600 rack. Plants do not wait for repair. They replace first and investigate later.
MPC4 is the protection card. If a trip output fails, the machine may run without protection or trip falsely. Both cases are not acceptable. That is why plants keep a spare MPC4 in the cabinet and why distributors must hold multiple versions.
IOC4T, IQS450, and TQ402 are usually requested together when a monitoring channel goes bad. A typical job asks for:
one TQ402 probe
one IQS450 conditioner
one IOC4T communication card
one CPUM if the rack also needs re-addressing
This combination means stock levels can change within the same day.
The shortest way to get a wrong part is to order “MPC4” without the full code.
Before sending an inquiry, record:
Full part number from the module label, including 200- or 204- prefix
Version or suffix, such as 071-113, 150-031, H05, or B21
Quantity required
Target date for installation
Rack type: 204-040-100-011 or 204-040-100-012
Example:
TQ402 111-402-000-013 with H05 cable is not the same as H10.
IQS450 204-450-000-001 output configuration differs from 204-450-000-002.
MPC4 200-510-150-031 is not interchangeable with 200-510-017-017 unless the vibration protection logic and relay outputs are verified.

Is the CPUM firmware compatible with the existing rack configuration?
Does the MPC4 relay output version match the existing trip circuit?
Does the IQS450 power output version match the 24 V wiring and load?
Does the TQ402 cable length and thread size match the bearing housing?
Is the module pre-tested and covered by warranty?
A supplier that only gives “yes, in stock” may not be checking the suffix. We check every code against the nameplate before final confirmation.
Old stock without packaging: works but warranty may be unclear.
Mixed versions: one shelf location may contain 200-560-000-016 and 200-560-000-019; always send the full number.
Fake “new” modules: ask for test record, serial number, and warranty period.
Long lead time disguised as stock: “available” can mean two weeks. Always ask for dispatch date.
Do you hold CPUM 200-595-067-114 in stock?
