Bently Nevada
Bently Nevada 3500/40M-02-00 (Part Number: 126615-01): Description
The Bently Nevada™ 3500/40M-02-00 (part number 126615-01) is a four-channel Proximitor Monitor
designed for the 3500 Machinery Protection System, specialized in processing signals from Bently
Nevada proximity transducers. It conditions input signals to deliver critical machinery measurements,
including radial vibration, thrust position, eccentricity, differential expansion, and REBAM, while
enabling user-programmable alert and danger alarm setpoints for machinery protection and
operational monitoring.
Configured with a Proximitor I/O Module with External Terminations (designated by the "02" in the
model), this monitor requires separate ordering of external termination blocks and signal cables for
complete installation. It operates with channel pairs—channels 1 and 2 can perform one
measurement function, while channels 3 and 4 handle another (or the same) function—supporting up
to two simultaneous functions. The monitor features front-panel LEDs (OK, TX/RX, Bypass) for real-
time status indication, including operational health, communication with other 3500 rack modules,
and bypass mode.
It provides short-circuit protected buffered transducer outputs and a -24 Vdc transducer power
supply, ensuring reliable signal transmission and sensor operation. Compliant with global industrial
standards, it adapts to harsh operating environments and supports hazardous area deployments
when paired with appropriate approvals. The monitor is configured via the 3500 Rack Configuration
Software, allowing customization of filters, alarm setpoints, and time delays to meet specific
machinery monitoring requirements.
