The IS420UCSCS2A is a Mark VIeS Safety Controller, an active-life-cycle dual-core controller designed for functional safety loops to achieve SIL 2 and SIL 3 capabilities, compliant with IEC 61508 standards. It features a 1.6 GHz AMD G-Series dual-core microprocessor, 2 GB DDR3-1066 SDRAM with error correcting code (ECC), and a 128 GB Solid State Drive for storage, with no non-volatile SRAM. The controller supports Simplex, Dual, and TMR redundancy configurations, enabling flexible deployment across various safety-critical applications from small industrial systems to large combined-cycle power plants.
