The Dual Thrust Position Monitor features 2-channel (A/B) redundant axial rotor position monitoring 

with AND/OR voting logic (AND prevents false Danger alarms, OR for less critical use). Probe gap 

voltage—negative DC proportional to probe-surface distance—is displayed via front-panel GAP 

switch. "OK" status (proximitor output within limits) controls LEDs/relays; latching OK requires System 

Reset. The OK Relay (on Power Input Module) energizes only if all channels are OK/bypassed. Alerts 

(1st-level) and Danger (2nd-level) activate LEDs/relays when signals exceed preset levels (time-delay 

considered), with setpoints viewable via front switches. First Out flags initial alarm channels (reset via 

RESET). Alarm relays offer nonlatching (auto-reset) or latching (manual reset) modes. Danger Bypass 

(board switch) inhibits Danger relay (BYPASS LEDs on, disable via jumper). Buffered outputs (front 

connectors/module terminals) and per-channel recorder outputs (0 to -10 Vdc, +1 to +5 Vdc, or +4 to 

+20 mA options) support external equipment. Includes cyclic, power-up, and user-invoked self-tests.
