S2SC70), replacing the legacy SCP461 module. Available in suffix variants: -0 (no explosion protection)
and -1 (with explosion protection, ISA Standard G3 compliant).
●Compatibility: Works with ProSafe-RS software R3.01 or later (R4.01+ for S2SC70 units); requires
software patches for versions R3.01–R4.04. Compatible with specific single/duplexed SSC60/S2SC70
models (supports standard/wide temperature, explosion protection configurations).
●Safety & Hardware Specs: Achieves SIL 3 safety integrity level. Weighs approx. 700 g, equipped with
a replaceable built-in battery (Part No. S9450FE, 3-year replacement cycle at ≤30°C).
●Upgrade & Maintenance: Upgrades from SCP461 require the S2CP471KT kit (option codes match
control unit type) and must be performed by Yokogawa-authorized engineers. On-line replacement
allowed for dual-redundant configurations; cannot coexist with SCP461.
●Physical & Compliance: Follows JEM 1459 dimension tolerances; compatible with air deflector
T9085JZ for wide-temperature control units. Complies with safety control unit standards (refer to GS
