●16 Digital Output Channels: Provides 16 current-sourcing channels (24 V DC, 0.5 A maximum
continuous current per channel) in one isolated group, enabling high-density I/O integration.

setups to meet high-availability requirements.
●Comprehensive Protection: Each channel includes current limiting (short-circuit proof), over-
temperature protection, EMC shielding, and inductive load suppression for enhanced durability.
●Advanced Diagnostics:
On-board diagnostics for output switches (no pulsing required) and internal circuitry.
Front-panel LEDs (Fault, Run, Warning) and channel-specific status/error indicators for real-time
monitoring.
Supervision of short and open loads with configurable loop resistance limits (50 Ω to 2 kΩ).
●Safety & Reliability:
Certified for SIL3 (IEC 61508) and Category 4 (EN 954-1) for high-integrity applications.
Fault tolerance of 1 (IEC 61508) for output drivers; normally de-energized (ND) systems retain control
despite driver errors.
Degraded mode support (for normally energized channels, available from DO880 PR:G) to maintain
partial functionality during faults.
