★Description:The safe loop-monitored digital output module SDOL-0424 features four
24 Vdc, 1 A loop-monitored output channels, capable of driving loads up to 24 W (with a
maximum total module load of 3.6 A). These channels support both resistive and
inductive loads; for inductive loads, each output is integrated with a suppression diode
to mitigate voltage transients. All outputs—including their suppression diodes, as well as
lead breakage detection and short-circuit detection functionalities—have undergone
comprehensive testing, enabling the module to be reliably used in safety-critical
applications.
The outputs are tested for:
• Ability to de-energize
• Ability to de-energize via secondary means
• Cross talk between outputs
• Function of the suppression diodes
• Lead breakage in the (external) output wiring
• Short circuit of the outputs
