Power Supply Protection
Incorporates built-in over-voltage protection via a dedicated fuse—triggering fuse opening in case of input over-voltage to prevent damage to the PIM, power supply module, and downstream 3500 system components. Under-voltage conditions are also safeguarded without causing harm to the module or connected equipment.
Redundant Power Architecture Support
Works seamlessly with dual 3500/15 power supplies (primary in lower slot, backup in upper slot) in the 3500 rack. Supports hot-swapping of power supply modules without disrupting rack operation, ensuring uninterrupted power for critical machinery monitoring applications.
Mechanical & Electrical Integration
Mounts directly behind the associated 3500/15 Universal AC Power Supply Module in a dedicated half-height slot on the left side of the 3500 rack.
