The HIMA F7131 is a dedicated power supply monitoring module engineered for use with the PES 

H51q (Programmable Electronic System), featuring integrated buffer batteries to ensure continuous 

voltage monitoring and diagnostic capability. Compliant with CE certification, it is designed to 

oversee the system’s 5 V power supply generated by up to 3 power supplies, playing a critical role in 

maintaining the reliability of safety-critical industrial systems—such as process control, emergency 

shutdown, and automation systems—in sectors like oil & gas, chemical processing, and 

manufacturing.

Key to its functionality, the F7131 provides multi-layered power supply supervision: it uses 3 front-

panel LED displays for at-a-glance status visualization, 3 test bits for integration with central modules 

(F8650 or F8651) to enable diagnostic display and user program operation, and 3 × 24 V outputs (PS1 

to PS3) for monitoring power supply modules in the optional B9361 assembly kit. The module also 

includes buffer batteries to ensure uninterrupted monitoring even during transient power 

fluctuations. For long-term reliability, HIMA recommends replacing the buffer batteries every four 

years; the specified battery type is CR-1/2 AA-CB (HIMA part no. 44 0000016). With a compact design 

requiring just 4 TE (Terminal Equipment units) of space, the F7131 integrates seamlessly into existing 

PES H51q setups, providing essential power supply oversight to prevent unexpected system 

downtime due to voltage anomalies.
