1. Product Introduction

The 3500/32 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height component of Bently Nevada’s 3500 Asset Condition Monitoring system, designed to provide programmable relay outputs for industrial machinery protection and alarm annunciation. It enables customized voting logic and integration with external systems (e.g., annunciators, shutdown circuits).

2. Core Functionalities

2.1 Relay & Logic Capabilities

4 Independent Relay Outputs: Each relay can be programmed with custom "Alarm Drive Logic" using AND/OR logic, leveraging alarming inputs (alerts, dangers) from any monitor channel or combination of channels in the 3500 rack.

Flexible Rack Placement: Installable in any slot to the right of the Rack Interface Module; multiple modules can be used in a single rack for expanded relay capacity.

2.2 Programming & Configuration

3500 Rack Configuration Software: Used to define Alarm Drive Logic, ensuring the module meets specific application needs (e.g., multi-channel voting for critical shutdowns).

3. Application Notes

Not for TMR Applications: For Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) setups, use the 3500/34 TMR Relay Module instead. Consult Bently Nevada Specification part number 141534-01 for details.
